Multivariate problems can be made univariate if the covariances have "sphericity". The "Manova" of "Fit Model" with "Univariate" option tests sphericity (Mauchly Criterion) and two adjustments to degrees of freedom: Greenhouse-Geisser and Huynh-Feldt.
